Hi Tanya, quick feedback on your post yesterday and 3 things that it inspire in me:
1. Your total dedication to your writing and commitment to spreading the joy or journaling
2. The excellence of your prompts, I wrote about 3 people who inspire me and wrote the others down for the rest of the week
3. Your ability to have early mornings. Actually I don’t know if that is inspiring or ... guilt tripping. I have extremely slow starts to my days. This is partly due to the fact I no longer have somewhere I have to be (being 6 months short of 70 and self employed, the pressure is off, which I absolutely enjoy) and partly because I love the warmth of my bed and do quite a bit of time sensitive work on my phone. I also love the sanctity of my bedroom with its view on our garden and the sun streaming in from the door leading to a terrasse, where I do yoga in the summer, and this sanctity leads me to my daily journaling.
I still haven’t had the guts to start writing my Substack, a big part of my doubts and fear lying in my age. I hear voices saying that age is not an issue, that there is no age for writing, that my voice would be interesting to anyone, but these voices do not weigh enough - for starters none of them are my age or are as clueless when it comes to writing as I am. So I’m journaling on self believe and confidence - sometimes - to build the courage.
Wow, thank you for such a thoughtful comment. I love reading your mini reviews. I'm thrilled my writing, well, ramblings landed well with you. I really do think you should start writing on your Substack. Nothing to lose, everything to gain Jacqueline. x

Which is exactly what I’m going to do now.
Thank you for your daily writing!
