Yes I was also going to say delete the spare one.

Sara may be able to refund your subscription so you can subscribe again with the new email address/ account you want? You might have more luck that way as her team are fab and I’m sure she’ll have something set up for this.

It’s easy to send refunds with stripe or PayPal as a business if you used either of those to pay?

It may have happened because your email address automatically entered into the bar when you sign up to receive someone’s substacks direct to your inbox where as actually you wanted to use one email address and one only. This happened to me because my laptop remembers both my email addresses.

Thank you SO MUCH for your brilliant advice. I have suggested the refund route to Sara. Fingers crossed. I’m sure all will be sorted in no time at all. I guess these things will tend to happen. The joys of having more than one email account 🤯🤪

Yeah this is it - admin is just admin isn’t it. I bet you’re not the only one to have this happen.

I think having read comments on office hours Substack do reply but it can take a few weeks so better this way if it works.

Agreed. I dread to think the amount of emails I’ve had, still have since the first email was launched ?! 🤯
