Substack with Ease ...NOT!

How I almost lost my sanity with Substack

Now hands up who has managed to set up their Substack with NO and I mean NO issues whatsoever? Please, give me a thumbs up if you have found your way around this platform with ease. I know what the response will be, you sailed through the process of setting up your Substack. I’m probably the only one on this planet that doesn’t find the technical side of Substack easy peasy!

This is the thing, I have not only managed to set up one but TWO Substack newsletters. How is that even possible?! To be honest, it’s of no surprise to me. At 48 years young, I quite easily get myself into a tizz when it comes to anything technical. Give me a wave, I’m the the girl sat with ‘Digital Dinosaur’ tee shirt on !

Don’t get me wrong this is not a rant about Substack, this is merely a reach out to you for some friendly help and support. Maybe you have a solution to my rather ridiculous problem…

I have paid for a subscription to the ever so delightful

founded by Sara Tasker (you'll also find her over on Instagram as @me_and_Orla) but the subscription has been paid for via one of my two Substack newsletters. Yes, you read that correctly, some how I have managed to set up two Substack newsletters. But, one of them I don’t wish to use, I don’t remember setting it up and it doesn’t even have a profile set up. How bananas is that?!

As you can imagine, my head is in a spin.

Something that should have been so simple, yet to me, has now become something quite challenging to sort out. Mainly because there isn’t a Substack help desk, you know the type I’m going on about, help desks with a real person at the end of the phone. I’d just really appreciate the opportunity to speak to a human being, one that might be able to help me sort out my rather silly Substack situation.

Isn’t it ironic, that my Substack, this one, the one I want to keep using and the one I wanted my paid subscriptions on, is called …with EASE. I’m certainly not going to be awarded Substack guru of the year anytime soon.

who is the ultimate expert on Substack. Farrah is certainly your go to expert, especially if you’re in search of top tips and useful guidance on how to build your Substack audience. I must add, Farrah has also been very helpful whilst I’ve tried aimlessly to sort out my double Substack problem.

So I best leave the Substack writing for another day, I’m off to try and untangle my very tangled Substack set up.

PS. Less than 24 hrs ago, I was living my life with ease, check out the photos I took whilst walking my ridgebacks yesterday….
