What a beautiful ode to the local library. I concur, print is not dead. I would love to work from the library but would 100% end up surrounded by a huge pile of books, resisting the urge to roll in them like a cat in a heap of catnip 😂
Ditto 😂 Although I did find some real gems yesterday. I’m about to read “A Life Of One’s Own” by Joanna Biggs. Documenting the unconventional paths that 9 extraordinary writers took, their pursuits and achievements but also their disappointments and hardships. Going in on the sofa, with my blanket and a warm cuppa 💫
That sounds great! I’m adding that to my list. That’s what Sunday afternoons are for, right? Blankets, cuppas and a good book (or some writing in my case).
Great post- so important to support libraries 😊
I love them. I also adore mobile libraries. I’ve seen some really cute ones in Spain 🚚

Oh and a long hot soak in the bath with candles and maybe a cheeky glass of baileys 😉👌
Oh now you're talking! Except the baileys - I'll have a G&T 😁🍸
