Hi Tanya - your coffee shop adventure sounds incredible, and is a good reminder that so-called 'failures' are nothing of the sort. I loved hearing about all the memories and gifts you have taken from that time.
I have to admit that I'm more of a tea-drinker myself, but that first cup in the morning is my favourite. I mostly drink it while I'm meditating first thing - I listen to Jeff Warren's Daily Trip on the Calm app everyday. But I've actually been reaching for my Substack app recently and indulging in some good reads while sipping.
My daughter and I are also exploring different kinds of non-caffeinated teas to drink in the afternoons and evenings, letting go of my long held dislike of fruit teas, and embracing the myriad of flavours that are available these days.
Thanks for commenting Thea, lovely to read about your love for tea. I've always associated a strong milky tea with being in hospital, so I stay away from the traditional cuppa. Now and again I'll make myself a Pukka tea, my favourite being liquorice & peppermint. I hope you enjoy a wonderful day and that it's complimented by many soothing cups of tea.
