I’ve always been an introvert, so initially lockdown suited me, but after a while made me realise how much I missed human conversations and connection, which surprised me... I think a lot of us have learned a lot about ourselves over the past couple of years.
Your not alone on the nerves, especially when thinking about what to write and who to write for, so I decided to write here initially for my own benefit, and just see where it takes me... its not costing me anything to do this... I have lost money over the years starting business ventures (mainly in the beauty industry) and failing, I do make a living in the industry now, but it took a while. So, I feel like I have nothing to lose... got to try things to find out what works... I’ve certainly found out a lot of things that don’t work for me throughout my lifetime lol 😂
Your words really resonate with me. I could write a book on failure! Thank you for sharing your story and for being so honest. It’s soothing to know there are more of us in the same storm we are just to trying to navigate in different boats.
I love this! It’s so me! I love journaling too. Morning coffee and a good brain dump!
I’m with you in the wanting to write, but not sure of the audience. I worry that I’m so unique (and I don’t mean that in a big-headed way at all!) that people might not “get” me 🤷♀️
Also a huge fan of Emma - that’s how come I’m here. Maybe this could also be my place to share my magpie-esque finds! ❤️
Mostly nonsense! 😂 Morning Pages, I guess. Not always three pages though. Not religiously daily, but at least time a week. I just kind of sit there and write about whatever is on my mind. I sometimes use journal prompts - I’ve actually got a little notebook to write prompts in when I see or get ideas! 👌🏻
I know what you mean about not doing it. If I miss more than a couple of days, I do miss it.

If I don’t journal I always think there is something missing in my day. Never thought I’d ever think like that. Refreshing surprise.
What do you journal about? Do you journal daily?
