On Christmas Eve, Icelandic families exchange books as gifts, then spend the entire evening curled up in a cosy corner, diving into their literary treasures. It’s not just a gift exchange, by the look of it, it’s an immersive experience of storytelling, getting cosy, surrounded by all your favourite comforts and connecting with your loved ones, mine being my ridgebacks.
