The Rage Manifesto - High Five to Us!

It should be International Women's Day every day!

High five to us all for being exactly who we are!

Today, as we celebrate the remarkable journey of womanhood… the highs, the lows, and everything in between. I have created “The RAGE manifesto” It’s been bubbling in my mind for months. I wasn’t sure whether to make it public or not. It really is a note to self and I’d be interested to hear if my manifesto resonates with you at all?

In my humble opinion, IWD should be every day, because we are so damn flipping AMAZING! From moments of vulnerability to displays of unwavering determination, from the drive to succeed to the hard work that propels us forward, from moments of uncertainty to bursts of passion, and yes, even the righteous rage we feel at times, this is our day, and it should be every day!!

Each of us brings something unique and valuable to the table, contributing to the rich tapestry of experiences that make up the collective story of women around the world.

So here’s to us, for our strength, our resilience, our compassion, and our unyielding spirit. Today, let’s celebrate not just how far we’ve come, but also how far we’ll go together.

The RAGE Manifesto

“Igniting Women's Creative Revolution"

In the midst of midlife's whirlwind, we stand, unyielding in our pursuit of transformation. We are the fierce and fiery women who've discovered the potent magic of channeling our raw emotions into something beautiful and creative. We understand that rage, when harnessed, can become a catalyst for change, and the page, our canvas for expression.

This is our manifesto! Our declaration of unapologetic power.

We declare that our rage is not a weakness but a wellspring of energy, a burning force within us, demanding recognition.

We refuse to suppress or numb our emotions. We confront our anger, our sorrow, our frustration, and acknowledge them as the architects of our strength. Our rage is valid, and we honour it, for it is the voice of our deepest desires, longings, and unspoken truths.

We Transform Through Expression

We yield the written word, the brush, the melody, and the dance as weapons of self-discovery, release, and rebirth.

The page is our battlefield, where we wage wars against stagnation, conformity, and silence. We write, draw, paint, sing, and dance our way to liberation. Through creativity, we transmute rage into resilience, pain into purpose, and chaos into order.

We Break the Chains of Expectation

We challenge society's expectations of midlife women. We refuse to be labeled, categorised, or defined by age or gender. We are ageless, timeless, boundless.

We discard the shackles of conventionality, opening our hearts to an array of creative possibilities that awaken us from a slumber of complacency. Our creative expressions are our banners of rebellion, signaling to the world that we are unapologetically ourselves.

We Build a Community of Warrior Women

We stand shoulder to shoulder, united in our mission to empower one another.

We extend our hand to our sisters, our friends, and even our enemies, for we understand that empathy and compassion can heal the deepest wounds.

Together, we will create an ecosystem of support, growth, and empowerment. We are each other's strength and solace.

We Redefine Our Narrative

We cast off the outdated stories that have defined midlife women as fading into obscurity. We create our own narrative, one of renewal, wisdom, and resilience.

We shout our stories from the rooftops, unafraid of judgment or rejection. Our stories are testament to our strength and our collective journey.

We manifest the change we seek, proving that our rage is a beacon guiding us to a future of boundless creativity, authenticity, and empowerment.

We will go on as warrior women as we RAGE and RAGE ON A PAGE!
