In the depths of my being, there exists a fire, an ember of passion and vitality that burns bright, waiting to be ignited. Recently it’s been a force that has propelled me forward, urging me to connect with likeminded women. Maybe you feel the same. For some of you, this fire may just be a flicker, barely noticeable amidst the chaos of everyday life. But, it’s in these quiet moments of reflection and introspection that we can fan the flames, stoking the fire within until it blazes with undeniable intensity.
Whilst I was out walking along my local beach this week, I thought lots about how I’ve recently managed to find happiness within. Because, life can be hard, it takes courage, resilience and self awareness when in the pursuit of happiness. Some days are epic, some quite lonely and then other just “meh”, I guess it’s because most days I work alone, as a company of one. So I’ve learnt to cultivate a sense of contentment and peace that isn’t dependent on external circumstances or validation from others. Instead, I’ve recently been leaning into to simple pleasures, like walking with my Ridgebacks, capturing the sunrise and enjoying the beach to myself, before the rest of the world wakes up.
Whether it’s taking a stroll along the beach, savouring a cup of tea while lost in daydreams or indulging in a few minutes of journaling from the comfort of bed, these small acts of self care and mindfulness can ignite the spark of joy within us all. These moments remind me that happiness isn’t found in grand gestures or material possessions, but in the moments of quiet reflection and connection with ourselves.
So I encourage you to embrace your fire within, nurture it with love and intention until it burns brightly. Let it illuminate your path with radiance of inner peace. Because when we learn to find happiness within ourselves, we discover a source of strength and resilience, that empowers us to navigate life’s challenges with a little more optimism.

Please help yourself to the following journaling prompts, I absolutely love creating them for you…
1. Reflect on a recent moment when you felt a flicker of joy within. Describe the experience in detail, including the sights, sounds and sensations.
2. Explore the concept of happiness within yourself. What does it mean to find contentment independent of external factors? Write about your thoughts and feelings on these ideas.
3. Consider the small pleasures in life that bring you joy. Make a lift of these moments and reflect on why they hold significance for you.
4. Visualise your inner fire as a tangible flame. Draw or describe this flame, representing your passion, vitality and inner strength.
5. Dare to daydream and then journal about what ideas came into your thoughts.

So true. We are never really alone when we have access to creative forces. All we need do is make space within ourselves to access them. Once connected, they never fail to fire up the furnace of imagination within! x x x
