It is a rather calm Sunday morning here in Tresaith, as I sit by the comforting warmth of the crackling fire. Ridgebacks cuddled up on the sofa next to me, taking up way too much space in my humble opinion. It’s very cosy at least. How are you feeling today?
The storms outside are still brewing over the ocean and reminding me of nature’s boundless power, which resulted in a power cut last night. I wasn’t prepared at all. It was pitch black for a few minutes whilst I was hunting around the beach house looking for candles and torches. Thank goodness for the iPhone torch light. I’ve been warned it could happen again at any time. Eek! Time to batten down the hatches and get more essential supplies in.
If anything the stormy seas and the tranquil interior of the beach house last night, created a unique and contemplative atmosphere for me to sit and journal by candle light. If anything, the hush caused by the power cut, forced me to pause for thought. I decided rather than doom scroll, best to create a few journaling prompts, so if you’re in the writing mood help yourself to a few I’ve listed below…
Try and delve into the therapeutic potential of these stormy vistas, why not seek to unravel the healing and transformative qualities that they may offer.
Until the next time
Take care & stay safe xx
