As the weather rages on outside, the rain lashing against the windows and the threat of snow looming in the Northern parts of Wales, I find myself in a familiar predicament… my two ridgebacks Nya and Obi, firmly planted on the sofa and refusing to budge.

“Be more Ridgeback” I say to myself, half-jokingly, as I contemplate the stormy chaos that awaits outside.  I can’t imagine any of the regular dog walkers, joggers or cyclists that I usually bump into, braving this weather. So god only knows why I’m contemplating it?!

Today, my routine has been disrupted by the storms and by the fact the boiler is being serviced at 9am.  Firstly, I was grumpy by the fact I had to wait in for boiler to be serviced and secondly, I don’t like to delay my morning dog walk. Never mind the …
