Dear Reader,
If you’re a newbie here, welcome to my Substack newsletter called 'with ease’.
I’m so glad our paths have crossed, I’m still quite a rookie on here but absolutely loving this community. Day to day I host writing & wellness retreats with some cool authors and creatives. I’m hoping I’ll be able to reach more wonderful creatives here on Substack, whilst making a few friends and over time maybe we could collaborate and offer more subscribers something truly magical.
‘with ease’ is a funded newsletter which includes recommendations, interviews with best selling authors & literary agents, journaling workshops and book giveaways. Everything I write about and promote always compliments a step towards how each and everyone of us could live our lives with ease.
If you would like to support my writing, ramblings, updates, invitations to my monthly interviews with best selling authors, plus journalling and letter writing workshops, you can join as a paid subscriber for just £4 per month (or £40 per year). I’d love to connect with you, so please don’t be shy.
This week, to help me celebrate launching a paid subscription option, I shall be giving away a BOOK STACK to one lucky paid subscriber which will be worth £40!
I shall announce the lucky subscriber on Sunday evening 16th April.
I’ve been feeling so motivated since attending an insightful masterclass with
last night, where she shared top tips and advice on how to grow your Substack community, which was epic by the way, and I highly recommend you follow her. This is why today I am biting the bullet and offering a PAID option for you my fabulous readers. There has been lots of chitter chatter in Substack NOTES since it was launched yesterday. Some saying they are worried Substack is going to be an alternative to Twitter, which will create a sense of overwhelm, where there are lots of people talking but not enough listening or quality interacting.
Have you ever been to an exhibition, where everybody is promoting their services and products but no one is leaving their stands to interact with their neighbours. Let’s hope this isn’t what NOTES will turn into. Even though the past 24hrs on Substack has been quite a scene from a RAVE! Maybe it’s just me. I’m hoping I’ll get the opportunity to meet likeminded wanderers, in doing so, find my tribe and select the newsletters I really want to read and connect with. After all how many newsletters can you read in one day. I feel as though with Substack, I have a stack of really cool and interesting new magazines waiting to be read. I’m just looking at them piling up. Loving the shiny new covers but having no time to sit and read any of them yet.
However, I do believe NOTES is going to be good for our souls. A healthy alternative to what Twitter, Facebook and Instagram offers or is actually lacking at this moment in time. From just being on Substack a couple of months, I find it to be a platform that is a safe and friendly space for each of us to build and grow our own creative communities. There are plenty of subscribers out there for all of us. With a little love, patience and support, hosting interviews with interesting collaborators and sharing of ideas, we can all blossom and make a really good living.
As of today I’m going to press the green light on the PAID wall.
So if you are a free subscriber and enjoy my ramblings so far, this is what you’ll receive if you become a paid subscriber…
Recommendations of places to eat, sleep and visit along the coast of Wales
A book giveaway to one lucky subscriber
Interviews with writers who I collaborate with on my writing retreats
Behind the scenes of ease retreats
Journaling workshops with stationery giveaways
If ‘with ease’ would be a newsletter you’d like to be a part of, I hope we get to connect in the not too distance future and if you’d like me to share your Substack newsletter please don’t be shy, just tag me into one of your NOTES when you get the opportunity.
Until the next time
Take care & stay safe xxx
