It’s been a long emotional day.
Whereby I’ve felt pulled and pushed from pillar to post. My own fault for putting too many tasks on my ‘to do’ list. Why do we do it to ourselves?!
Sometimes when your bucket is almost full, it only takes one little drop and the whole thing topples over.
Bizarrely, I’m also feeling a little frustrated, because there has been no time to Substack. I’m trying to stick to my personal writing challenge - to Substack every day for one whole year, taking me up to my 50th Birthday next August.
I’ve just managed to grab a moment to write a few simple lines.
Good old Haiku, it always manages to soothe my soul.
Stars whisper secrets
Dreams spark galaxies within
Tomorrow’s embrace
