I’m thrilled to meet you. Thank you for following my Substack, I hope you enjoy my daily ramblings. I’m a midlife Welsh gal, striving to live life ‘with ease’ by doing what I love most, hosting writing retreats and facilitating therapeutic journaling workshops.
For those of you who have been following my daily musings and insights on Substack, thank you for your ongoing support and engagement. It’s your enthusiasm that continues to inspire me to explore new avenues of growth, reflection and connection.
I’ve been thinking about how to add a little more spice to my Substack. I know and get introduced to so many interesting people from all walks of life, whom I learn so much from, that I’d like to share their stories with you. So over the next few weeks I’ll be focusing on a new project here on Substack called ‘life with ease’ - it aims to enhance wellbeing and help foster a sense of balance and fulfilment in our lives. I’m going to explore facets of life, from meditating to good sleeping habits, from resting well to rejuvenation, from deep working to total relaxation and so much more.
My goal?
To unlock the wisdom of experts in these areas and harness their knowledge to make our daily experiences more meaningful and, well, easier.
Each instalment of ‘life with ease’ will focus on a specific aspect of our lives and I’ll be inviting experts in their field to answer a few questions. I’ll be interviewing professionals and creatives who are passionate about sharing their insights and help us navigate life’s complexities with a little more grace and ease.
So whether you’re looking to improve your sleep habits, simplify your cooking skills, adopt a new journaling practice, learn to manage your finance better or find solace in moments of rest ‘life with ease’ is here to guide you, and me!
Also, I plan to keep sharing my midlife ramblings, new writer collaborations and my book recommendations. ‘Book reviews with Ease’, gives me the perfect excuse to mooch around my local charity shops and book stores. I’m on a bit of a winning streak this month. I picked up the memoir ‘Homesick’ by Catrina Davies for 99p and I am gripped by what I’ve read so far. It’s a profoundly moving and thought provoking exploration of the concept of home and the modern housing crises.
Until the next time
Take care and stay safe xx
Sounds wonderful!! I’m a newbie follower 👋
