“Like the snow moon, our journey through life is marked by cycles of growth and transformation, each phase bringing us closer to our true selves”
Last night, I was captivated by the full snow moon. Nature’s gift was quite the spectacle and for those of you who follow lunar cycles, you’ll know how symbolic it is.
I learnt yesterday that the snow moon, aptly named for the wintery landscapes it graces, serves as a poignant reminder of the cycles of life and the opportunity for transformation. In its glow, I found a moment of stillness, and as I always like to “pause for thought” it gave me a few minutes to reflect on my journey and contemplate the path ahead.
Apparently the snow moon invites us to cleanse ourselves of the old, shedding the weight of your troubles, making room to embrace the potential for new beginnings, for growth and for change. Which I love! I think lots of us are searching for a sense of renewal, something to uplift our spirits and infuse us with a sense of purpose and motivation.
The snow moon also holds a special significance in many cultures and traditions. Full moons are known to affect our state of mind. I definitely noticed I was more sensitive this week, now I wonder if it was the snow moon affecting my heightened emotions?!
Well, I’m all up for embracing the positive vibes from a full moon. What about you? Do you feel the lunar cycles influence your emotional state of mind? It’s definitely a topic I’m going to journal about this morning.
If you’re in a journaling mood, please help yourself to the following therapeutic journaling prompts. Created by me to help guide your Sunday WORD:ship session, and all thanks to the snow moon.
1. Reflect on the beauty of nature and its ability to inspire awe and wonder. How can you incorporate more moments of natural beauty into your daily life?
2. Consider the ways in which you can nurture your spiritual and emotional wellbeing. What practices or rituals bring you a sense of peace and fulfilment?
3. Think of a time when you felt truly at peace with yourself and the world around you. What conditions allowed you to experience that sense of serenity?
By embracing the snow moon’s energy and symbolism, we can cultivate a greater sense of peace, clarity and emotional wellbeing in our lives. If nothing else, use this time, this moment, to harness its power to inspire your creativity, foster your connections to nature and give yourself permission to lean into your hearts desire.
Until the next time
Take care and stay safe xx

The snow moon was gorgeous & so big as it was rising. I made sure I cleansed my crystals & bathed them in the moonlight. 🌕
