Embracing The Fire Within
Transforming anger into healing through the practice of therapeutic journaling
Dear Friend
How are you today? Did you enjoy a relaxing weekend?
I’m not sure where my Monday has disappeared to? If you find it, please return it, as I have a rather busy week ahead here at ease retreats :)
Recently, I had the privilege of being interviewed on a podcast by the very talented Substacker coach
- if you’re in need of a Substack MOT look no further, Claire is a genius, and has a shed load of top tips and recommendations on how to grow your Substack. On the podcast, we talked all things
, my writing retreats and therapeutic journaling program "Rage on a Page”. When I listened back over the interview earlier today, I realised I should highlight my journaling workshops more regularly and mention the transformational benefits of “Rage on a Page”.If you’re anything like me, you often shy away from your emotions. You know those feelings that sometimes bubble up like a volcanic eruption, leaving you feeling raw and exposed. Well what if I told you those very emotions, even the ones that scare us the most - anger, grief, fear - are actually messengers, here to guide us on a journey of self discovery and personal growth.
Welcome to “Rage on a Page”, where I help women learn how to channel their emotions into something more positive and creative in less than 60 days. If you join the program you’ll get to embrace the full spectrum of your emotions, even the messy ones. In this particular journaling program, I teach you how to shift your perspective and see your rage, your grief and your fear, not as enemies to be fought, but as allies nudging you towards deeper understanding and healing.
Through the magic of mindful journaling and self awareness, you’ll uncover the wisdom hidden within your emotional landscape. You’ll learn how to decode the messages behind your rage, turning it from a destructive force into a catalyst for transformation.
And guess what? We won’t be just talking about it - we’re going to roll up our sleeves and get our hands dirty. With journaling exercises designed to help you explore your emotions in a safe and supportive space, you’ll discover new ways of relating to your rage and other intense feelings. There are creative sessions using art, I encourage you to use your non-dominant hand, we create action boards and journal with our eyes closed, plus I invite wellbeing experts to talk us through how to be more emotionally intelligent, with body scanning techniques which are fascinating.
So if you feel like you’re not in control of your emotions, don’t let another month pass you by. It’s time to honour your emotions, to listen to what they have to say and to unleash the power of your rage onto a page. Are you ready?
My next series of “Rage on a Page” starts early June, and I’m looking to work with 4 women. If you’d like to learn more about the program I talk about it passionately on the podcast episode with Clare Venus - check it out here Dance to your own tune!
Honestly “Rage on a Page” is a radical program that teaches you how to make journaling a non-negotiable daily ritual, that I promise will change your life for the better.
