Dear Friend
How are you feeling today? I’m not sure if I’m coming or going. I’ve had an influx of interest from a couple of writers and creative experts, asking if I’d consider collaborating. Which is an honour, but it means many more meetings, hours of research and all in all, a busier than I originally had planned . As my old radio boss used to say to be, “It’s a good problem to have Tanya!” It’s all groovy!
Some of you will know that a huge part of my business is hosting retreats. I set up Ease Retreats, mainly because I couldn’t find what I was looking for. I craved a gorgeous abode by the coast, a place to rejuvenate my soul, ignite my creativity, and most importantly, an itinerary that wouldn’t stress the hell out of me!
In my humble opinion, Ease Retreats captivates everything I’d love to experience at a writing & wellbeing retreat. I think after eight years of hosting retreats, I’m close to curating one of the most intimate writing retreats in the UK. Although, as with any small business, there are always funny, quirky, unpredictable and testing times behind the scenes. I’ve always been quite curious about how other people run their businesses, always keen to understand why guests decide to book a space and how everyone is impacted in such a profound way. So I thought you’d like to read about what goes on, and how my guests really feel when they attend one of my retreats. I’m going to pull back the curtain on some of my writing retreats, to protect everyone’s privacy, no guests or writers will be named…
