Dear Friend
How are you today?
Well what a weekend that was… were you blessed with an unbridled burst of summer this past Saturday and Sunday? I dearly hope so.
Everywhere I looked there were picnic parties in the park, crowded beaches, pretty coloured sun dresses and long lines of families waiting patiently at the ice cream store. A sight so very British and yet so mandatory for the sudden mini heatwave that graced certain parts of the UK.
Not only were we blessed with brilliant bright blue skies, sun drenched decks, but late Friday evening some of us witnessed the dazzling Northern Lights courtesy of the solar storm that ripped through the night sky. Did you see it? One of my friends who lives at the base of Snowdonia stayed up all night and captured a montage of stunning photographs. When we spoke on Saturday morning, understandably she was exhausted but still feeling euphoric after such an awe inspiring event.
Fair play it was a magnificent weekend, all played out by Mother…
